Infglut Glutal Test (12 Test)
Infglut Glutal Test (12 Test)

This test is used to detect increased levels of gamma globulin and fibrinogen in the blood of cattle, It is used to help diagnose diseases in cases of chronic inflammation in adult cattle and to screen for fire (the test also responds positively in cases of severe acute inflammation).

FEATURES

When diagnosing inflammatory diseases, it is especially important to determine the total protein content, as well as the gamma globulin fractions specific for the infection. Because in cases of infection, an increase in these parameters occurs. In particular, prulent inflammatory states and chronic infectious processes lead to a sharp increase in globulin fractions. In these cases, it is appropriate to perform a gluteraldehyde test, and it is important to determine the severity of the fire using this method.

PREPARATION OF THE TEST

An equal amount of blood and the gluteraldehyde solution that we have prepared are mixed in a tube. after taking 2-4 ml of gluteraldehyde solution into a tube, the same amount of fresh blood is added to it and the lid of the tube is closed and turned upside down. Every 30 seconds, the tube is turned upside down and the coagulation time is checked.

REVIEWS OF THE TEST

Interpretation of the test is performed according to the coagulation time;

If coagulation occurred within 0-5 minutes:
Severe positive

If coagulation occurred within 6-10 minutes:
Moderate positive

If coagulation occurred within 11-15 minutes:
Low severity of positive

If coagulation occurred within 16 min minutes:
Negative
